In this beginner level workshop, participants will create a sturdy market basket with a wooden handle, a fun and useful project with over under and start and stop weaving. Two colors will be available to choose from. This class runs from 11am to 2pm and will involve working with water so attendees should bring a towel and a sack lunch. Pattern and teaching provided by Mary McCreery, all materials provided. Mary has been a hobby weaver for over 25 years and lives on a small farm in southwest Missouri with her husband, a corgi and 2 "rare breed" dogs. (They are one of a kind, just not sure what).
